Recently, at the 2015 Championships at Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic was accused of receiving illegal coaching during a match.
Former ATP star Boris Becker, who is now the world’s number one coach recently told reporters that he and his team “have [their] ways” at telling Djokovic if ” it’s good or it’s bad.”
The ATP strictly prohibits communication of “any kind, audible or visible, between a player and a coach.”
Novak said “We can’t pretend like that’s not happening in tennis. Of course, there’s situations when it happens, and not just with the top players, with everybody. This is a very competitive sport. You’re alone on the court. Of course, there’s certain rules.”
He says that it’s up to the chair umpire to decide if it’s “tolerable” or not.
